Viansol commissioned us to develop a mobile and web application. A key requirement was for the server-side component to automatically download job vacancy data from several Slovak job portals. These job listings were then to be sorted and stored in the server database.
Users of the application would have the ability to browse job advertisements both in the mobile app and on the web. Additionally, they could add listings to their favorites for easier access and management.
We resolved the issue of downloading data from multiple job listing portals. The biggest challenges were download speed and removing duplicates.
Data for both the mobile and web applications are obtained from a shared server application that operates on a database. The data is transmitted via a secure API.
We developed a server for the client that can automatically download and process data from various sources. This server allows us to quickly and efficiently manage data, which is then available for mobile and web applications.
Additionally, we programmed a web application for the client that displays well on all devices and is available in multiple languages.
Finally, we created a mobile application that works on both Android and iOS devices, providing users with access to data from anywhere.
